Phoenix Ball
February 7 at 8:00 PM
Old Car Heaven

This annual ball raises funds for the Phoenix Club of Birmingham, which supports the Boys & Girls Club of Central AL. Attendees will enjoy live music by The Expendables and food by Off the Hook Catering, plus a few surprises that are in store!

Barons Fest
February 8 from 10 AM – 2:00 PM
Regions Field

This inaugural event offers fans an all-access tour of Regions Field, giving them unprecedented access to areas normally closed during game days. Attendees will also enjoy autographs by Barons first baseman Dan Black, photos with the 2013 Southern League Championship trophy, deals on merchandise, and complimentary snacks.

Imagine*Create*Inspire Luncheon & Fashion Show
February 8 at 10:00 AM
First Baptist Church of Columbiana

This 7th annual fundraiser for the Shelby County Arts Council celebrates the arts. The event includes a sale of regional art, a lunch catered by the Fish Market, and a fashion show showcasing clothing from Chico’s of the Outlet Shops at Grand River.

Riverchase Loves Artists Art Show
February 8 from 10 AM – 4:00 PM
Riverchase Country Club

This 8th annual art show is free and open to the public. Notable artists from around Alabama will be exhibiting and selling their work in a variety of mediums, including paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography and more. Proceeds from art sales will benefit Alzheimer’s of Central AL, The Amelia Center, and the Exceptional Foundation.

8th Annual Acoustic Soup – rescheduled!
February 9 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM

Join VSA Alabama for an evening of live music by the Big Tasties, a silent auction, and delicious soups, breads, and desserts prepared by Birmingham’s most popular chefs. All proceeds benefit VSA Alabama and its programs serving children and adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses through the arts.

Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story
Now through February 9
The Virginia Samford Theatre

Back by popular demand, this show tells the story of Buddy Holly, a man from Lubbock, Texas who changed the face of popular music, only to die tragically in a plane crash at the age of 22. Audiences will enjoy hits like “Peggy Sue,” “Raining In My Heart,” and “Oh Boy.”

Birmingham Home & Garden Show

Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend
