If you love the concept of farm-to-table food, you’ll love this event spotlighting local farms. Miller Farms beef will provide locally produced, grass-fed only meat for the prix fixe dinner. The Best Medicine Show

The UAB School of Medicine Student Senate event showcases the creative and artistic talents of medical students through short films and live performances. Proceeds from the show will benefit Equal Access Birmingham, a student-run initiative that provides medical service to the local under-served and vulnerable population.

ROAR, the Regional Oncology Active Research committee, is hosting the Fourth Annual James Bond Gala. The annual cat show makes its way  back to Birmingham this weekend! This year’s show, themed “Cats of the Silver Screen,” will include up to 225 pedigree cats and approximately 50 household pets.

“Embracing Silence” Exhibit

Alabama Center for Architecture

The exciting photography exhibit, a display of black and white photos of local Moss Rock Preserve, features images of boulder fields, sandstone glades, waterfalls, native plants and wildlife. You won’t want to miss the work of Joseph De Sciose, winner of the Garden Globe Award for “Best Photography for a Garden Book.” 


Warhol Fabricated
Now through February 28
Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts- UAB

The works of legendary Andy Warhol will be on display in the first major show by an artist of global renown at UAB. Visitors can expect to view nine screen prints and 90 photographic prints owned by UAB along with loaned pieces from various national museums.
