B-Metro will be on site with Tracy James of ChicMadeSimple and Buffy York of The Style Gathering as we live post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram from 4PM-6:30 PM on Friday, February 13. There will also be champagne, sweet treats, a photo booth, and incredible giveaways.

Annual Pancake Day

The Exceptional Foundation

Head out to the 31st annual Kiwanis Pancake Day. The club’s largest fundraiser is always a big turn out, with a silent auction, live auction and plenty of fun activities for kids. Live music will be performed all day along with all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausages.

Chinese New Year Festival

Boutwell Auditorium

The 9th annual festival will showcase Chinese dance, music, acrobats, KongFu, traditional educational activities and food. A dragon dance will open the ceremony with on-stage performances to follow after. Bring the whole family to enjoy the culturally-rich and colorful Chinese New Year Festival.

Black Heritage Genealogy Fair

Birmingham Public Library-Central

The annual fair focused on “Discovering our Past to Forge our Future” is held each February to encourage African Americans to continue researching their genealogy. Visitors can expect speakers, displays, music, art and dance, as well as a youth presentation and light refreshments.
