Art on the Rocks

Featuring the best of Birmingham culture, Art On The Rocks offers a night of art, performances, giveaways, food, and drinks. The final AOTR of the season happens this Friday from 7 – 11 p.m.–don’t miss it!

High Five Fest

Gear up to get down at this annual all-day music fest. This year’s lineup includes B-Metro artist to watch Jesse Payne and others including Nerves Baddington, Feather Canyon, Pen Pals, The Whitey Herzogs, and Null.

Robert Randolph & the Family Band

They’ve rocked some of the biggest stages in the business. Finally, Robert Randolph & The Family Band are bringing their intense, good-time funk and brilliant pedal steel guitar playing to the ASC at 8 p.m.

River Beach Party & Picnic

Perry County, AL

Soak up the last days of summer with a Saturday morning outing at the beautiful sandy beach along the lower Cahaba River. Bring the family, a swimsuit, and wading shoes.

Homewood Block Party

Homewood Public Library

Sample food from some of Homewood’s best restaurants and listen to great local musicians while your kids enjoy lots of fun activities, including bounce houses, a dunking booth, and face painting.

BBQ at the Zoo

Aspiring BBQ cooks are squaring off to see who has the best grub in Birmingham. Sample BBQ chicken, pork, ribs, and brisket while you enjoy live music and kids’ activities to support Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School, which provides quality education to underprivileged students.

Rock out with some of Birmingham’s most talented female musicians and artists at this fest benefiting The Well House, a local shelter for human trafficking victims. The lineup includes Mandi Rae, The Acorn People, and Two State Nation.

Boiling N’ Bragging

Get your low country boil on at this pre-season tailgate party supporting Children’s of Alabama. From 6-9 p.m., enjoy a cornhole tournament, entertainment, kids’ activities, and drink specials.

Tragic City Rollers

Zamora Shrine Temple

Catch Birmingham’s roller derby girls at their final home bout of the season. They’re facing off against longtime rivals, the Mississippi Roller Girls. The bout starts at 7 p.m. and is open to all ages.
