Now in its 10th year, this annual show includes antique dealers from across the United States presenting antiques, furniture, porcelain, fine art, silver, garden accessories, and jewelry. Meet regionally and nationally known architects, interior designers, and landscape designers.

October 1, 5-9 p.m. Downtown Birmingham
This week, Birmingham transforms into a walking art gallery featuring 50+ of our city’s talented artists. Head downtown on Thursday for live music, local food, and artisans from around Birmingham.

43rd Annual Greek Food Festival
October 1-3, 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral
For three days, experience the Greeks’ legendary zest for life. At the festival you can find authentic Greek cuisine, Mediterranean and Orthodox Christian souvenirs in the gift shop, and Greek dancing.

McDivot’s Golf Driving Range
Due to popular demand, SisterGolf is excited to now offer co-ed golf events. Join them this Saturday for an hour of golf instruction followed by drinks and networking. No golf experience is needed, and clubs will be provided.

9th Annual Bark in the Park

Veterans Park
This family-friendly and dog-friendly free event supports the Shelby
Humane Society and will
feature adoption booths where you can find pups looking for new homes, vendor booths, and educational activities for you and your pet.

Linn Park
Alabama’s premiere Hispanic culture festival kicks off its 13th year with an exciting line up of Hispanic and Latino entertainment and family fun. The festival has added a new village, Cocina Latina,
featuring
Latin foods from local restaurants.

52nd Annual Bluff Park Art Show
October 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Bluff Park Community Center
The show has grown from 65 artists to more than 150 since it started. In addition to art, there will be food vendors throughout the park, hands-on children’s art activities, and music provided by
high school jazz bands. Proceeds go towards improving the arts in the Birmingham area.

Five Points South Birmingham
Head to Five Points South for the
inaugural
celebration with Oktoberfest themed menus, entertainment, Auburn and Alabama football, and six Oktoberfest style beers for you to try at six different beer garden patios throughout the area.

Aldridge Gardens
See Native American life take shape through flint knapping, pine needle basket weaving, and dance performances. Authentic Native American food will be available for purchase as well as handmade flutes, drums, jewelry, and bead work.

Enjoy good food, arts & crafts, face painting, live music, games, horse activities, and more.
The event benefits The Red Barn, which offers riding lessons, camps, and educational activities.

The Vulcans Community Awards

The Club
The Vulcans are the Birmingham region’s highest civic honor and will be presented to honorees who represent civic pride, progress, and leadership in five categories: Lifetime Achievement, Hero, Game Changer, Servant Leadership, and Newcomer.
