Who most inspires you? The people of Alabama inspired me with their resilience and strength during the tornadoes back in April.

My most overused words or phrases: “I know, right?”

Most treasured possession: My Red Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion guitar.

I am guilty of: Working way too much.

What is your greatest extravagance? Good food

Guilty pleasure: A large Dominos pizza and some really bad late night TV…

What is your greatest fear? Not living up to my full potential.

Favorite book: The Bible” and “Miles, The Autobiography”…you really can’t get more polar than that.

Talents (or talents you wish you had): If I had a great singing voice and a talent for writing incredible song lyrics, I would love to be a singer/songwriter like James Taylor or John Mayer.

Greatest regret: I don’t have any regrets in life.

What is your motto/mantra? Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. – Confucius

Quality you most like in a woman/man? Honesty.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being on stage with musicians I love, playing music that I love for an audience that shows love!

If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be and what would you say to them? Muhammad Ali. I would tell him that his strength, his courage and confidence had a profound effect on my life.

Favorite journey or trip: New Orleans for my 50th Birthday

What is your greatest achievement? Navigating the music business and making a living in it for over 25 years.

What is your current state of mind? Desperately searching for peace…

Any new projects on the horizon? Yes! I have a major album project coming out in June 2012 and I am currently booking artists for the 6th Annual Preserve Jazz Festival which will be held on June 3 next year!
