Age: 24
My hometown: Pelham
When are you happiest? When I’m with people I care about or when I’m in an adventurous mood.
Most treasured possession: My family.
I am guilty of: Late night snacks and being distracted from what I need to be doing.
Guilty pleasure: Anything with sugar and the stock market.
What is your greatest fear? Dying young, not being able to
accomplish my goals and raise a family.
Favorite book: 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey and The Adversity Advantage by Paul G. Stoltz and Eric Weihenmayer.
Talents (or talents you wish you had): I’m really good in the kitchen; I can make a mean Italian salad dressing. I Wish I could speak multiple languages.
What is your motto/mantra? Whether you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right. Nothing in life has meaning, except the meaning you give it.
One day I hope to…conquer the world … just kidding … ummm I hope to give back to others and make a positive impact on as many people as possible.
Quality you most like in a woman? Confidence and compassion.
What trait do you most deplore in others? It’s really disheartening when people settle for less than they’re capable of. We all have the ability to accomplish amazing things. Oh yeah, and ignorance … can’t stand it.
What is your most marked characteristic? I’m very driven and motivated; I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being able to look back on my life when I’m old and gray and say life has been good.
Which living person do you most admire? My parents; they have sacrificed so much for me.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “Talk is cheap,” “What up”, and “Absolutely.”
Last time I cried: My Grandfather’s funeral.
Favorite journey or trip: I’m traveling to Europe in March so I’m looking forward to experiencing the different culture.
What is your greatest achievement? Starting my first business and buying rental property.
What is your current state of mind? Excitement
You can never have too many…Positive role models and home–cooked meals.

In 2007 Angela Karen launched Birmingham Bombshells to accommodate the high number of old hollywood style portrait requests inundating her studio. Now she is nationally recognized for her pin-up pictorials, and Birmingham Bombshells has evolved into the city’s premier spot for vintage photography.
