Brookwood LIVE!

B-Metro magazine reveals the 10 Most Beautiful Women in Birmingham featured in the 2013 Beauty Book at Brookwood LIVE, Thursday, May 2! With live music from Honey Island Swamp Band and dancing in the street, there will also be balloon art and face painting for the kids. Select Beauty Book advertisers will be offering hand massages, eye brow waxing, nutrition tips, and fabulous discounts on products and services. Girls on the Run Birmingham Metro
Saturday, May 11, 7:30 am
Marconi Park in downtown Birmingham. 

The race is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. following a 7:30 a.m. group warm-up. The Girls on the Run 5K is a fun-filled event celebrating the girls’ capabilities to accomplish any goal they desire. All levels and ages of walkers and runners are welcome and invited to join in the festivities. Whether it is your first 5K or your fastest, it will be fun!

The Prom we Never Had

22nd Annual Arty Party
B&A Warehouse

The annual event is possible because of the generosity of local and regional artists and collectors who donate art each year.  100% of sales from Arty Party benefit Birmingham AIDS Outreach and help us continue providing free services to HIV positive individuals. The Arty Party Committee is honored to have Carol Misner as our featured artist.  Carol’s beautiful work is shown locally at Richard Tubb Interiors.  Carol made “Southern Flowers” specifically for Arty Party.  It is the largest piece of art she has made. Carol has been an avid supporter of Birmingham AIDS Outreach and Arty Party for many years.  She and her partner Ann are involved in many wonderful organizations and causes in the Birmingham area
