Heart of Dixie Country Jam

This tribute concert features The Wayne Mills Band, Zac Hacker, Kyle Wilson, Jonathan East, and The Southern Boys Band. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the family of Wayne Mills, a country musician who tragically lost his life in November 2013.

ASO Regions Masterworks Series

Two Pianos: Quattro Mani

Acclaimed at the Alabama Symphony Orchestra’s Carnegie Hall debut, piano duo Quattro Mani returns to Birmingham for another dazzling collaboration. Guest conductor Sarah Hicks will also lead the ASO in Belgian composer Cesar Franck’s most famous orchestral work and American composer Jennifer Higdon’s Skyline.

Red Shoe Run

Formerly the Red Nose Run, this annual 10-mile, 5K, and 1-mile fun run invites all ages to lace up their floppy red running shoes for one of three runs benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.

Doggie Work Day

During the past two doggie work days, volunteers cleared three of the six acres that will soon become Remy’s Dog Park. As the official opening fast approaches, volunteers are once again invited to clip, clear and celebrate Remy’s Dog Park.

6th Annual Chili Bowl

Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Walk

This fourth annual unity walk is a free, family event that honors the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and promotes healthy living. This year’s theme, “Food 365,” encourages participants to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local individuals and families in need.
Registration begins at 10 AM the day of the event


BrickFair: LEGO Fan Festival
January 11 – 12 from 11 AM – 4:00 PM

BrickFair brings together fans of LEGO from across the USA to show off their projects and share their passion for LEGO toys. Attendees of all ages will enjoy LEGO models, displays, and winding trains sprawled out over 58,000 square feet.

Southern Bridal Show
January 12 from 12 – 5:00 PM

The South’s biggest elite bridal show and wedding expo invites brides to meet face-to-face with wedding professionals to create the wedding of their dreams, from the registry to the honeymoon–and everything in between! The main event, the bridal fashion show production will start at 4 PM.

Birmingham Boys Choir Collaborative Concert
