This 11th annual event invites you to enjoy delicious hot soup and breads made by local bakeries to support Magic City Harvest, the food recovery program of greater Birmingham. Along with lunch, attendees will get a keepsake bowl that has been hand-painted by local artists, students, and churches.

Four Seasons Gallery

View works by some of Birmingham’s best artists at this annual exhibit, which will be on display and for sale through April 5. This opening reception celebrates the artists on display, all of which are members of the Birmingham Art Association, a rich and diverse group of artists and art lovers of all ages, experience levels, mediums and styles.

Fashionably Fair Fashion Show

Sojourns Fair Trade
This fashion show features fair trade clothing, accessories and shoes and benefits the Rape Response program of the Crisis Center. Clothes will be modeled casually among the tables as you sip wine and enjoy fabulous pastries–you can even order the clothes modeled at the event. The models represent real women and will be all ages, sizes and ethnicities.

Darter Festival

The third annual Darter Festival celebrates Birmingham’s singular fish, the Watercress Darter, and will raise funds to support darter habitat restoration efforts. This all-ages event features kite decorating and flying, live music, and good eats, including fish specialties by George Sarris and seasonal darter ale by Good People Brewing Co.

 


Funky Fish Fry
April 5 from 12:30 – 8:00 PM
Trim Tab Brewing Co.
Listen to some funky music, hang out with friends, eat some fried catfish and have a cold one at this year’s Funky Fish Fry. Plus, there will be a moonwalk and face painting for the kids and amazing prizes to win. Proceeds from the Funky Fish Fry will benefit the Autism Society of Alabama and Mitchell’s Place.
