Oak Hill Cemetery Fall Tour

The Fall Plant Sale at the Gardens

The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is hosting its annual Fall Plant Sale in Blount Plaza at the Gardens. Visitors will discover herbs, sustainable trees, fall annuals, shrubs, carefully selected native plants, and perennials as well as trees selected especially for Birmingham’s climate and conditions! They’re available for purchase …and planting in your environment! The Plant Sale will be open to the public Saturday, 9am – 5 pm and Sunday, 12pm – 4 pm. SANSPOINTE ‘Dances Along the Line’

 Sanspointe Dance Company returns to Birmingham’s Railroad Park for a new work choreographed for a site on the west end of the park. The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble was created in 1967 to perform the larger chamber works, from quintets to octets, with players who customarily work together, instead of the usual string quartet with additional guests. The Chamber Ensemble tours as a string octet, string sextet, and in other configurations including winds with a heavy travel schedule that regularly takes them to France, Germany, Spain,  North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.
