B-Metro’s Little Red Dress Party

Aloft Hotel in SoHo
The 4th annual Little Red Dress Party is arriving just in time for American Heart Month, and you’re invited! Put on your best LRD (little RED dress!) and join B-Metro Magazine and St. Vincent’s Health System for complimentary food, great networking, a cash bar, and door prizes.

Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend

Buddy and Patsy – Together at Last at Iron City Feb. 14

Buddy and Patsy – Together at Last is a Valentine’s Day concert starring Jared Mancuso as Buddy Holly, Emily Herring as Patsy Cline, and Ben Burford as the Big Bopper.  Those who missed Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story at Virginia Samford Theatre can catch this live performance one night only on the Iron City mainstage. Tickets are $27 in advance and $30 the day of the show.


Wild South Brewfest
February 15 from 1 – 6:00 PM

This event unites brewers from North Carolina and Alabama to raise awareness for wild places and wild things across the South. Eighteen brewers will offer their unique styles of Southern craft brews, allowing guests open tastings with a souvenir tasting glass complimented by small plates by Iron City.

Mardi Gras Fundraiser

At this fun, free fundraiser, over a dozen prizes will be raffled off, including a getaway stay at the W Hotel in New Orleans. All proceeds benefit Kid One Transport, which transports children and expectant mothers with limited or no means of transportation to medical care.

This 10th annual fundraiser for the Alabama Wildlife Center will feature will feature chocolate desserts, savory appetizers, and beverages provided by many of Birmingham’s finest eateries. Guests will also enjoy both a live and silent auction and live music by a local violinist and harpist.

Magic City Challenge Tennis Tournament

Participating tennis facilities

This city-wide tennis tournament is a soft-court doubles only event for ladies levels 2.5-5.3. On March 7, the Love-Love Tennis Ball will conclude the multi-day tournament and celebrate the tennis champions. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Robert E. Reed Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Foundation.
