With more than 50 boats on the water available for demos and another 50 boats on display, there’s something to interest every lake lover.

Magic City Art Connection

This annual arts festival presents 200 juried artists from around the country. Complementing the art buying experience is the food, wine, craft beer and spirits of the 19th Corks & Chefs tasting event along with live music and art-making workshops.


Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama

Come see some of the world’s fastest drivers on one of the finest courses in North America. There is something for everyone from the Indy Car Fan Village to inflatables in the Kid Zone. Tickets start at $15 and children 15 years and younger get in free with a ticketed adult.


Gumbo Gala

Join local gumbo chefs as they compete for the bragging rights to the title of Birmingham’s Best Gumbo. Enjoy great music, a kids zone, and gumbo all to support Episcopal Place.

Earthbound’s Earthfest

Black Warrior Riverkeeper, a local organization 
dedicated to improving water quality, wildlife habitat, recreation, and public health throughout the Black Warrior River basin.


Run for a Reason 5K
April 23, 9- 2 p.m.
Sozo Trading Co

Run a 5K through the heart of Avondale then enjoy food trucks, vendors, and a post-race performance by the Sozo Children‘s Choir all the way from Uganda. 100 percent of the proceeds raised will help children in Uganda, East Africa.
