BAAM (Birmingham Arts and Music Festival) celebrates its 5th anniversary with this 3-day showcase of Birmingham’s rich music and cultural arts scene. This year’s fest will include an attempt to break the world record for the longest Soul Train line on 8/15 and a special TEDx presentation on 8/16.

At this 14th annual fundraiser for Hand in Paw, you’ll be in awe of the miraculous things that animals are capable of doing. Pets have been paired with local artists to create masterpieces, with the artist helping the animal use its feet, tail and even nose to paint. After you browse the gallery, the pet paintings will be auctioned off to attendees.

This month-long fundraiser offers patrons the chance to win one of five unique playhouses, including a log cabin, a cottage, and a schoolhouse.
