Chef James Boyce will be offering an exquisite four-course dining experience to start your new year right. Menu selections include braised angus short rib ravioli, Atlantic oysters on the half shell, and oven- roasted duck breast.


Bassnectar NYE 360
Dec. 31, 7:30 p.m.

Bassnectar, an American DJ and record producer, is best known for his live performances, light shows, and community engagement. Ring in 2016 with this one-of-a-kind show. 


Ring in the New Year at The Top
Dec. 31, 5:30 p.m.-1 a.m.
The Summit Club

Eat a delicious three-course dinner and experience live music, dancing, and a champagne toast. Sports fans can head to the 
viewing lounge where Alabama football will be shown on the 120″ high-definition screen.


The Great Gatsby’s New Year’s Eve Ball
December 31, 9:30 p.m.

Dress up in your 1920s attire for a memorable celebration at this local music venue. Sample 
hor d’oeuvres and look forward to a midnight Champagne toast.


The Black Jacket Symphony
December 31, 10:30 p.m.
Iron City

The Black Jacket Symphony returns to Birmingham’s hit music venue to perform Journey’s Escape plus a full set of greatest hits on New Year’s Eve. Watch Alabama football at 7 p.m. on Iron City’s giant HD screen.


New Years Eve with Man or Astro-Man?
December 31, 9 p.m.
Saturn Birmingam

Spend your last night of 2015 at one of Birmingham’s newest music spots with several Alabama-based bands including 
Man or Astro-Man? known for over-the-top performances.
Pine Hill Haints will also perform and 
DJ Coco & Rocko will spin tunes at an after show dance party.


The Happening Presents NYE Circus of Love
December 31, 7 p.m.
Trim Tab Brewing Co.

For the best people watching in Birmingham, head to Trim Tab for live music, fire, trapeze artists, light installations, food, and more at a special event benefitting the Alabama Environmental Council. Dress up in your glamorous or circus attire for a night to remember. 


December 31, 9:30 p.m.

Party the night away in one of Birmingham’s most eclectic concert venues. Originating in Georgia in 1997, Trotline has become a popular band in the southeast with their unique blend of southern rock and country.

World of Beer

This New Year’s Eve, tr
y a new local brew or sample ones from around the globe.
 Specials include 
$4 local beer on draught and select Belgian and German beers. Football will be playing all day and live music begins at 9 p.m. Be sure to stay for the midnight Champagne toast.


Resolution Run
January 2, 7:30 a.m.
Red Mountain Park

Start the year off right with the 5th Annual Resolution Run benefitting Red Mountain Park.
This year’s event will offer a new Family Fun Run as well as a 5K, 10K, and 20K courses.

Returning this year is the ever popular scavenger hunt along the trails with great prizes for the lucky finders.

January 5, 8 p.m.
Iron City

As a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and in his own storied solo career, Gregg Allman has long been a gifted natural interpreter of the blues with his soulful and distinctive voice. His show is one not to miss.
