Middle Eastern Food Festival

St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church

Enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, hand-crafted items for sale, and a live Arabic band. Arabic dancing will be performed nightly and church tours will be available in the evenings and all day Saturday.


Van Halen

Oak Mountain Amphitheatre

Enjoy a live performance by American rock band Van Halen in an exciting outdoor setting. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.


Signature Chefs Auction

Iron City

Witness local chefs showcasing their culinary talents, sample fine wines, and participate in an auction. Proceeds benefit March of Dimes, an organization working to improve the health of mothers and babies.


Carlos Izcaray conducts Strauss

Alys Stephens Center

Richard Strauss’ music kicks off an exciting year of music-making as the Alabama Symphony Orchestra welcomes Carlos Izcaray as its new director. Remain after the concert for an informal “Inside the Music” discussion.

Celebrate the Birmingham Zoo’s 60th anniversary with the 2015 ZooGala. Enjoy dinner and dessert, cocktails, music, dancing, a silent auction, and more. Guests are invited to the VIP Party from 6-8 p.m. and the main event at 8 p.m.


Sweet Om Alabama presents Global Mala

Join the yoga community to celebrate the healing and empowering benefits of practicing yoga. This event honors National Yoga Month and the mission of Sweet Om Alabama to bring yoga out into the community to those that lack access to a regular practice. Trucks by the Tracks

Birmingham’s best food trucks will be serving up everything from po boys and gourmet burgers to cupcakes and gelato. Guests can also enjoy giant lawn games set up throughout the park and live music from local bands. 


U.S Women’s Soccer Team vs. Haiti

Come see current FIFA World Champs, the U.S Women’s National Soccer Team, face off against Haiti right here in Birmingham. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.


Porsche E-Hybrid Launch & Open House
