July 4, 5-9:30 p.m.
Hoover Met
Celebrate July Fourth with a car show, kid’s zone, live entertainment, and spectacular fireworks show. Entertainment includes 572 Band of the South, Bailey Ingle, and The Negotiators.

July 4, 9 p.m.
Five Points South
Thunder on the Mountain illuminates the skies above Birmingham’s treasured iron man. This year’s show will last approximately 20 minutes and be choreographed to a musical soundtrack that will features a mix of patriotic favorites and popular musical performances.

July 4, 7 p.m.
Bartow Arena Park
Bring your blankets and chairs for a picnic while enjoying an outdoor band concert by the UAB Summer Band. This large group of carefully auditioned and selected student and professional musicians puts on a fantastic show.

July 3, 6:30 p.m.
Regions Field
Watch the Birmingham Barons take on the Biloxi Shuckers and stick around for a post game fireworks show.

July 2-4
The Birmingham Zoo
In honor of the holiday, the Zoo is giving free admission to veterans as well as all active and retired military and their dependents. On July 4th, the Zoo will celebrate the 10th birthday of the red river hogs Star, Spangle, and Banner.

July 3-5
Black Market Bar & Grill- Five Points
Celebrate the holiday all weekend at Black Market with food and drink specials, live music, and karaoke.
