One-on-One: Ty Taylor & Hannah Black

This month’s one on one was a spirited conversation between a public relations specialist and an actor turned restaurateur.

Ty Taylor is the owner, operator, and manager for Pinches Tacos, a Mexican restaurant in Homewood with three other locations in California. Taylor was instrumental in bringing the California-based taqueria to downtown Homewood’s Hallman Hill complex.

This is the first time in Pinches Tacos’ history that it had branched out from the state of California. and its growth here in Birmingham is a testament to Taylor’s deep roots and insights as a native Birminghamian and restaurateur. Pinches Tacos has gained a strong following in the Birmingham area, bringing authentic Mexican recipes (some more than a century old). Pinches Tacos has become a “must-see” eatery in Birmingham.
