Did you know The Melting Pot has its own bar? I had not pulled up a stool to their bar before tonight. But the specialty cocktails that I have so enjoyed while dining at The Melting Pot led me here for a cocktail tasting.

The bar is small enough to be intimate and has a specialty cocktail list of drinks that are uniquely their own. For a date night, I fell for their most popular cocktail, Love Martini, at first sip. This martini is red in color and includes Malibu rum, Peach Schnapps, cranberry juice, and fresh strawberries floating about. The Ying Yang is sure to please chocoholics. It is topped with both white and dark chocolate shavings and made of Godiva white chocolate liqueur and Stoli Vanil vodka blended with ice cream. Beach lovers can dream of warmer, sunnier days as they sip the Sunshine Sangria. It is a light and bright white sangria, with Malibu coconut rum, Chambord raspberry liqueur, and Luccio sparkling moscato. Deep South Tea will please all who speak with a Southern accent. This cocktail has a base of Absolut Citron vodka and Malibu coconut rum, includes a bit of sweet and sour, fresh lemon, and a floater of Smirnoff cranberry vodka.

Finally, the holidays call for a festive punch. And Sailor’s Punch starts with Jerry spiced rum mixed with orange and pineapple juices and topped with a trio of cherries. No matter which one you choose, pair with The Premium Cheese Dippers.
