What do you think is the city’s best kept secret?

Honestly, Birmingham as a whole is a well-kept secret. When I moved here four years ago, I was impressed by the restaurant scene, breweries and green spaces. I love that Birmingham is becoming a top spot for foodies and has so much charm!

What’s your idea of a great date night?

Date nights are my favorite! I always love dressing up and going to Hot & Hot for dinner and drinks. However, my schedule requires me to get up really early, so honestly I love “day dates.” Taking my dog to Railroad Park then heading to a local brewery, grabbing a few beers, and a bite to eat sounds like the best time.

Where do you want to visit in Birmingham that you haven’t gotten around to?

I have not been to the top of Vulcan and I am dying to go!

What’s your favorite place to go when you want to get outdoors?

This is a tough one! I love Railroad Park, Oak Mountain and Red Mountain. I am a sucker for a good view, and each of those places offers something different!

Do you have a favorite shopping spot?

I love The Summit. It has everything I need! I can spend hours there hopping from shop to shop.

Any other favorites you’d like to add?

There are so many things I love about Birmingham! I love getting drinks at The Roof at the Redmont Hotel, cheering on the home team at a Barons game and walking around Pepper Place Market on a Saturday morning. Birmingham is so special to me and I love our well-kept secret of a city!
