The Lumbar Cure

With a new menu and a unique style,  The Lumbar in Pepper Place is a perfect spot to relax your weary bones.

If you’d like a little brain power along with your craft beer or cocktail, The Lumbar in Pepper Place is the perfect spot to exercise whatever side of your brain piques your interest.

Created by daughter and father team, Rylie and Tim Hightower, the bar has spawned a great deal of interest since opening earlier this year. Viewed as a clever spot to get together and enjoy food and drink, The Lumbar even has a private room that can be reserved for groups working out math equations or just sitting around talking.

This fall, The Lumbar has developed a new menu to enhance its offerings. Broken down into shareables, handhelds, bowls and sides, the menu offers tasty alternatives to typical bar fare.

We recommend the shareable Matrix Tater Tots, loaded with red chile pork, parmesan cheese, green chile pimento cheese, drizzled with green chile ranch, topped with cilantro and fresh jalapeños, served with green chile ranch and salsa.

Or try the Frito Pie, crispy corn chips smothered in house beef chili and topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes, served with sour cream.

Either way you can’t go wrong with the equation put together by The Lumbar.
