Samford Legacy League’s Christmas Home Tour
Thursday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., 4-8 p.m.

The sixth annual tour features five exquisite homes in Vestavia, Mountain Brook, and Birmingham showcasing unique architectural elements, festive Christmas décor, and beautiful views.

Friday, Dec. 9 – Friday, Dec. 23
The Alabama Theatre
Feel the magic of the season by watching classic holiday films in the historic Alabama Theatre. Each screening begins with a sing-along accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.

The Birmingham Zoo
More than one million lights, holiday music, and plenty of festive activities bring the Zoo to life for 18 nights of holiday fun. Enjoy a ride on the Candy Cane Train, go for a spin on the Jingle Bell Carousel, and ride the Santa Rollers.

Samford University Wright Center
Alabama Ballet is one of only eight companies in the world licensed by The Balanchine Trust to perform this holiday masterpiece. Tchaikovsky’s  melodies transport the audience to a magical world where mice besiege a battalion of toy soldiers.

Samford University Brock Recital Hall
The heartwarming concert presented by Opera Birmingham will feature a variety of solo and ensemble performances by native Birmingham artists, setting the mood for your holiday season.

Saturday, Dec. 10 – Sunday, Dec. 11
Various homes
Take part in one of Birmingham’s beloved Christmas traditions. The 2016 tour will visit multiple gorgeous homes with Christmas tea and other holiday joys.

The Summit 
Hosted in Saks Plaza near Santa’s Workshop, more than 15 artist and makers will be set up for the holiday market. The Central Alabama Theater “Dickens Traditional Carolers” will perform.

Enjoy food trucks music, rare drafts, and other entertainment throughout the day. El Gordo is a Russian Imperial Stout.
