Birmingham gets a taste of Japanese culture with the Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival welcomes Spring every year and invites everyone to come celebrate under the beautiful, blooming cherry trees in its Japanese Garden. In Japanese culture, cherry blossoms, or sakura, represent not only breathtaking beauty but the transient nature of life.
