The Power of Women: Stephanie Weeks

Stephanie Weeks is the president of Southeastern Conveyor Services, Inc. Based in Birmingham, the company offers a full range of conveyor services including installation, repair, and maintenance. Stephanie oversees all day to day operations for the organization with an intense focus on quality, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

“I was born in Birmingham, and I am a life-long resident.  I have undergraduate and graduate degrees from UAB, and I am currently working on obtaining my MBA from UAB as well.  Therefore, we are very proud to be a Birmingham-based business, and we work hard daily to serve our customers in our exciting and essential industry,” Stephanie says.

After being introduced to the conveyor industry by her husband years ago, Stephanie was fascinated with not only the importance of conveyors in everyday life, but also their importance to business.

Name: Stephanie Weeks

Occupation: President, Southeastern Conveyor Services, Inc..

Work History: Oversees daily operations and other areas such as: quality control, business development, marketing and sales, negotiations and contracts, operations, supply chain management, HR, and employee training programs. Graduated from UAB in 2010 with a B.S. and again in 2013 with an M.S, currently attending UAB for an MBA. Most everything at some point has touched a conveyor along some part of it’s manufacturing, from a box of cereal to the road you drive on, a conveyor plays a part in it all. 

Community involvement: Attends Church of the Highlands, Fultondale Campus. Also supports Our Hope International, a non-profit that sponsors an orphanage in Uganda for children with disabilities.

Details: Born in Birmingham, attended UAB for undergrad, grad, and currently MBA. Married for 12 years with a 4-year-old girl and another on the way.
