Emily Ferrell was the first employee hired at Vituro Health and was instrumental in it being named one of the fastest-growing companies in Birmingham in 2016. She has worn many hats during the growth phase and has played an integral role in Vituro’s steady success. Her focus has been to grow Vituro’s business development, marketing, and physician partnerships which has led Vituro to be the second-largest provider of ablative prostate cancer therapies in the country. Additionally, she has developed a highly skilled physician network with over 200 physicians across the United States and Canada. Her leadership has kept Vituro at the forefront of bringing new technology to the market for prostate cancer treatment as Vituro Health was the first company in the United States to bring the Tulsa Pro treatment for prostate cancer to the market. Emily finds it rewarding to work for Vituro because these prostate cancer treatments offer men a chance to maintain their quality-of-life post-treatment. During the pandemic, Emily played a key role in the growth of Vituro Health as the company now offers at-home testing services through its innovative site www.onovihealth.com.
She is a graduate of UAB and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Partner Relations in August of 2019. She just completed her role as Treasurer for The Service Guild of Birmingham and is part of the 2020 class of 40 under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal. After placing third in Dancing with the Stars of the Magic City, Emily was inspired to recently start her own nonprofit Pinky’s Purpose, which provides feminine products to homeless women. Her hobbies include laughing, dancing, sleeping, reading, running, and dining at Mexico Lindo. She is wife to David, mother to the best “terrifiver” Vivi, and two rescues Twoey Joi and Asta White.
