Dr. Daniel Doleys is the director of The Doleys Clinic/Pain and Rehabilitation Institute in Birmingham, established in 1979. Previously Dr. Doleys was an associate professor of psychology in the School of Medicine at UAB. Dr. Doleys has served on the editorial board and as a guest reviewer for several journals and has authored/co-authored more than 120 scientific papers, journal articles and book chapters, focusing on the assessment and treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Doleys is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Association for Study of Pain, American Academy of Pain Medicine and the Southern Pain Society. He has been on the board of directors for the International Pelvic Pain Society, the Southern Pain Society and is past President of the Southern Pain Society (2007-2009).
