Jeff Rease is a professional photographer specializing in personal headshots and commercial images. What began as a photo shoot of a WWII veteran for his portfolio, inspired him to begin the Portraits of Honor project-a race against time to photograph and record the stories of as many living World War II veterans before they are all gone. No matter the part they played—the everyday soldier, sailor, airman, mechanic, nurse, pilot or radio operator—each one has a unique story about what they sacrificed for their country and their families.
