Christopher Stuart joins the Birmingham family as the new Artistic Director of the Alabama Ballet, marking an exciting and promising chapter for the state’s premiere professional ballet company. Christopher joins the company after a career with Charlotte Ballet as Director of Charlotte Ballet II, Rehearsal Director for the main company, and Interim Artistic Director following a 16-year career at Nashville Ballet as a principal dancer and Resident Choreographer. With his extensive experience and remarkable artistic vision, Stuart is poised to lead the Alabama Ballet to new heights in the world of dance.
