DRAKE (Wednesday, March 27 – Legacy Arena
Canadian rapper and vocalist Drake sustained a high-level commercial presence shortly after he hit the scene in 2006, whether with his own chart-topping releases or a long string of guest appearances on hits by the likes of Lil Wayne, Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky. Thanks to his introspective rap style, his sensitive R&B crooning, and his golden touch with songwriting, each one of his albums – from 2011’s Take Care to 2018’s trap-influenced Scorpion – topped charts worldwide, and singles like the Grammy-winning “Hotline Bling” and many of his mixtapes did too. As his star rose, he helped others along, sponsoring the Weeknd’s early work, starting the OVO Sound label, and giving features on his records to up-and-coming acts. By the second decade of his career, Drake’s constant chart domination, his Grammy wins and nominations, and his meme-worthy cultural presence made him one of the world’s most popular musicians, and the release of albums like 2022’s Honestly, Nevermind and 2023’s For All the Dogs became cultural events.

Grammy Award winner, AMA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member are just a few of the many accolades he has collected. An artist whose work fuses the bold punch of arena-ready rock with defiant, thoughtful songwriting, John Mellencamp’s most famous music is full of passion, heart, and an understanding of the lives of ordinary folks living in the American Midwest.
Nate Bargatze (Saturday, May 11 (2 shows) – Legacy Arena)
Hailed this year as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” by The Atlantic Magazine and a “Rising Star,” by CBS Morning, 2021 Grammy nominated comedian, podcaster, and Old Hickory, Tennessee native Nate Bargatze is selling out shows across the world. He also appeared on Conan four times, was a recurring guest on @midnight, and had his own Comedy Central Presents in 2011. Off-screen, Bargatze was part of Jimmy Fallon’s Clean-Cut Comedy Tour, and has performed live shows for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait five times. In addition to touring the country as a headliner, Nate toured arenas with Chris Rock on his 2017 Total Blackout Tour. He regularly performs at Bonnaroo, SXSW, Oddball Comedy Festival, Sasquatch, Clusterfest, and the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival, where he’s received critical acclaim multiple years in a row.
