Let’s challenge the concept that beauty and self expression are reserved for the young. Let’s tell the story of brave, bright colors and over the top elegance. Silver hair, well-earned wrinkles and fabulous fashion. Women who embody that particular brand of gorgeous that only comes with the years passing.

“I have always loved fashion. God gave me a creative soul like my mother and dad. I love to sew quilts, knit and paint. Around my mid-forties when I started working at several clothing boutiques, I discovered I loved picking out clothes for other people and putting the whole look together. I later worked putting fun fabrics together for purses and quilt kits and in a knitting shop. I loved making clients feel beautiful and experiment with colors and fashion. Being around creative people, we feed off each other. I have a wonderful loving and artistic family. I married another redhead and we have three red-headed girls and seven adorable grandchildren, aged 19 through 4 weeks. All of us share the love of fashion, decorating and expressing our artistic talents in various ways.
“The fashion shoot was so much fun. I was lucky to share the exciting experience with one of my best friends. We loved doing it. We felt young, inspired and fearless. I have always felt younger than my years, and it is an honor to have our age and individuality celebrated. I have always loved Iris Apfel and her friends. They dress with such elegance and an eccentric edge. Like them, I love mixing patterns and colors and being different from anyone else in the crowd. I shop regularly at B. Prince because they carry unique styles and always let me know when unusual pieces come in. Mixing bold colors and prints can feel like a fashion risk at first until you feel the joy it brings to yourself and others. You are only this age once; have fun living it!
