Top 50 Over 50: Lee Ann Moore Clark

Lee Ann Moore Clark was born in Lakeland, Fla., but her family moved to her maternal grandfather’s farm in Odenville, Ala., when she was 10 years old. That same year Lee Ann became involved in 4-H, the nation’s largest youth development organization. This experience ultimately paved the way to a successful career with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, whose vision is to serve communities to grow a better Alabama and a better world, a sentiment she embodies. Lee Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in education from the University of Montevallo. For the past 25 years, she has served in various roles, including her present position as county extension coordinator.
