Lt. Col. Patricia (Trish) Coghlan has been a volunteer with Alabama Wing Civil Air Patrol (CAP) for 37 years at the Squadron and Wing level working with cadets and serving as director of administration, personnel, professional development, public affairs and recruiting. She holds the emergency services mission specialty ratings of finance and administration section chief, mission observer, with two Find Ribbons to her credit. Since 2018, Trish has served as deputy commander for Group 2 Headquarters, receiving numerous CAP awards recognizing her work, including: Meritorious Service and Air Force Organizational Excellence awards. Trish volunteers at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with catholic education to adults and children, Mexican Mission, Ladies of Charity and Family Life. She serves on the board of directors of PFLAG.
Trish is a U.S. Army veteran as a commissioned officer in the Medical Service Corps.
