Martin Sher is the co-founder of AmSher Collection Services, a debt collection agency that emphasizes compassion and treating people with dignity. Originally begun as a small retail clothing store serving families with limited credit options, the family business has evolved and changed over its 83-year history. In addition, Martin assists people of all ages in learning about the potential health and weight benefits of intermittent fasting through his group on Facebook, Permanent Weight Loss, and an intermittent fasting group open and free to the public at the Leavitt Jewish Community Center on Thursday nights. Martin will be celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary this year with his wife, Debbie. Together they have three children and one grandson.
