Top 50 Over 50: Robert Simon is president and CEO of Corporate Realty, which works on developments across the Southeast and has led some of Birmingham’s most transformative projects, including Regions Field and areas surrounding Railroad Park. He is currently redeveloping large properties that were once home to Carraway Hospital and Southtown public housing community. A Birmingham native, Robert belongs to the Rotary Club, served on the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau board and actively supports organizations such as the Birmingham Education Foundation, Woodlawn Foundation, Birmingham Promise and Big Brothers Big Sisters. A member of the Leadership Alabama Class of 2018, Robert has received numerous honors, including being named as one of Birmingham’s Most Influential Executives multiple times and the Subcontractors Association of Alabama’s Developer of the Year. Robert is married with two children.
