Our specially trained physicians and nurses have the skill, experience and knowledge to handle any emergency. Our emergency services expanded from our main hospital campus in Bessemer into the Hoover area in 2015 with the opening of our Freestanding Emergency Department. Since its opening this facility has had more than 250,000 visits. The Freestanding Emergency Department includes 15 exam rooms, advanced diagnostic imaging, a full-service laboratory, and convenient hospital admitting—ensures high quality care with half the wait time of your typical emergency room. In August 2024 we will proudly be opening our brand new hospital off of I-459/Exit 1. It’s just one more way we can provide state-of-the-art care to the patients in West Jefferson County.
