Donna has 34 years of experience in the nonprofit field. Her career began in Georgia, returning to Alabama in the early 1990s. She worked in the mental health field as a counselor for 12 years and transitioned to executive director of the Walker County Children’s Policy Council in 2000, becoming the executive director of the Jasper Area Family Services Center in 2010. The center has grown over the past 20 years, moving to its third location in 2020. The center provides various education and prevention programs to support families to become financially independent and self-sufficient. Donna has two children and three grandchildren. She enjoys reading, hiking and traveling with her family.
