Give Birmingham: The Learning Tree

Contributions from caring people like you have made it possible for The Learning Tree to serve children for more than 38 years, providing help and hope for families.

The Learning Tree is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1983, to provide educational and residential services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism. Today we serve children in more than 40 counties across the state of Alabama.

Every family’s situation is different and it’s hard to know who to turn to when you are reaching out for help for your child, call on us today.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Learning Tree is to provide a warm and loving environment with individualized, empirically validated services and supports to persons with significant educational, medical and behavioral challenges; helping them develop and maintain a quality of life expected by non-disabled members of their family and community.
