Top 50 Over 50: Henry Ford

Henry Ford, a life member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. is one of the first 50 African American graduates of Auburn University, president of Resource Management real estate management company, executive director and executive trustee of Spirit of Luke/A Promise To Help charitable foundation, clinic administrator of Internal Medicine Affiliates and financial director/trustee of More Than Conquerors Faith Church. Henry’s motto is “Waste your time, waste your life.” As an ordained minister, Henry works hard at not wasting his life.

In 2002, the Henry and Dr. Sandra Ford founded the Spirit of Luke Charitable Foundation. A Promise to Help (APTH), sponsored by the foundation, is a volunteer-based organization whose goals are to assist in eliminating healthcare disparities in the underserved and underinsured 

populations of the Black Belt region. APTH has had more than 10,000 volunteers, treated more than 9,500 patients, served nearly 29,000 meals, given away more than 26,000 bags of clothes, given out 6,935 Christmas gifts to children and passed out 5,200 backpacks full of school supplies, while offering spiritual counseling and conversion to nearly 3,800 men, women and children.
