Top 50 Over 50: Anthony Brooklere

Anthony Brooklere’s legacy is lifetime achievements in pharmacy practice, civic affairs, community services and his church. Most importantly, he established a national group for pharmacy purchasing that has allowed a vast number of national independent pharmacists to remain viable. Anthony is a charter member of the Lions Club and mayor pro tempore of the city of Adamsville. He is a founding member of his church, currently serving as lector and Eucharistic minister. For seven years, Anthony served in the Medical Service Corps and was appointed assistant commander of Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is most proud of his family: wife, Sara Jean; children Anna and Johnny, both pharmacists; and grandchildren Zachary and Kaleb.
